Bookz 1Day Workshops take place in the Coastguard Education Centre at 704 Meeanee Quay, Napier - just across from the picturesque suburb of Ahuriri and right on the inner-harbour waterfront.
Located on the 2nd floor, there's wheelchair access (including a lift), airconditioning, and toilets located on both levels. There are full kitchen facilities for those who want to bring lunch, and we keep hot and cold drinks always available. There's plenty of space to stretch, walk around, or find a quiet corner to work or for some extra help.
The Education Centre overlooks Napier's charming inner boat harbour - and the open balcony is a great place to take a break, a coffee (a cigarette...) or a phone call.
Close to local amenities...
The afternoon sessions will go better if you to get away at lunchtime for a 'freshen-up'.
It's a short stroll or drive to local cafés, and a run or walk along the beachfront is only a minute away (and there’s a shower available when you get back too).
You are, of course, welcome to use the Centre's facilities for lunch.
Easy to find...
We're easy to get to, and there are plenty of free car parks right out in front of our Venue when you get here. (If you have any special access concerns please let us know - we are happy to reserve you a space by the front door.)
