1. Watch the instruction 'videos'...

You start with an imaginary bus company and you work through the whole process of setting up their accounting.

• Every step from installing and setting up the software, through to creating complex reports and letterheads, is detailed in simple, short (silent) ‘videos’ that you watch on your computer.
• You can make your training 'videos' go forward, stop, go backwards, or repeat.
• Every screen, entry and mouse click is illustrated and explained.
• Select just the videos you need (we'll help you choose), watch them at the speed you are comfortable with, and you will see just what you need to do to get computer accounting going.
• You can refer back to the videos as often as you like (or of course just ask us).

2. Practice what you see...

After each video your Workbook will guide you through what you have seen on-screen and give you the same data so you can do it again for yourself.

• Just work through the exercises
• If you get into a tangle we can automatically return your accounting data file to the start of any section
• If entering the numbers is holding you up, we can skip you ahead to the next section (provided you are happy you know what it's all about!).

3. Check your results...

There are full reports at every stage to check your work against

• Print your own reports during the Workshop, and compare with ours - you'll soon know if you are getting it right.
• Together we can tackle any mistakes before they become a problem in your own accounts.
• By the time you have set up the Alpine Bus Company accounts you are very ready to go home and set up your own.

4. Take the videos home for future reference...

Our Workshops will get you up and running with your accounting - but you will strike situations (especially if accounting is something you only get to once a month) where you will want to refresh your memory.

• A full set of your Workshop training 'videos' is on the USB drive you take home.
• You will be familiar with them from your Workshop and you can refer to them as often as you need.
• And if you get stuck, you have available unlimited email support.
