We know you didn't go into business just so you could learn accounting - and we don't believe accounting is the most important thing you do in your day - but we do believe you should do it, and that with practical training you can do it simply and easily and with minimal impact on the real job of running your business.

What we do...

We're a specialist training company focusing on small enterprise computer accounting - and everything that helps make it easy, efficient, or gets it out of the way faster.

We also feel strongly that training should be about results - and we know sore bums watching long presentations doesn’t get results (especially for busy small-business people). So we develop our own training material to be hands-on, practical, flexible and fun - and totally focused on getting the job done.

We provide our training in 1Day Workshops, we tell you up-front what you will be able to do when you are finished, and we follow up our training with on-going support and encouragement. We ‘put our money where our mouth is’ and provide a money back guarantee that when you finish you will be able to do what we say you will.

Why we do it...

There is perhaps nowhere in a small business where a computer is more helpful than in accounting. GST, invoices, quotes, bills, bank accounts - all become vastly easier, faster and more accurate on a computer. Knowing what is going on is even more valuable!

For any small business the pay-back with computer accounting is huge - and it’s very easy to do too. The only trick is getting it set-up and going - and that’s where we come in.

The guy behind it...

Creating and delivering practical, small-enterprise, computer accounting training demands more than just a knowledge of accounting - it requires a knowledge of computers, experience in training adults, and an understanding of what it is like to run a small business.

During his career Craig Lewis has had wide experience in adult training, small businesses - both commercial and not-for-profit - computers, computer training, and getting computer accounting systems running, sometimes in situations where the urgent priority is not accounting but keeping the business going! He does understand that small business people have more to do than just accounting...

Craig has also accumulated a couple of university degrees (BSc, MBA) and over 25 years experience in small, medium and large businesses - including running companies in New Zealand, Australia and the USA. Recently he spent 8 years managing a not-for-profit training organisation in the South Island specialising in the delivery of education services to rural areas.

Craig was born in Hastings, has 3 sons, loves photography and riding his bike, and in Feb 2007 completed a 5 month commercial skydiving course (www.nzskydivingschool.com) at Methven - because having fun really is important!
